Neteris collaborates with the Official Association of Psychology of Madrid in the deployment of technologies to develop the PsiCE project in the Community of Madrid

  • The technology platform was deployed on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud, which provides a secure, scalable infrastructure with the necessary agility to support the initiative

Madrid, January 30, 2024. Neteris, a consulting firm specializing in the implementation of CLOUD solutions and business applications, has designed for the Official Association of Psychology of Madrid, a technological solution for the IT application of the project PsiCE in the Community of Madrid.

The PsiCE Project, Evidence-Based Psychology in Educational Contexts, is a research program that is being carried out throughout Spain, promoted by the General Council of Psychology of Spain through Psycho foundation, (Foundation to promote the scientific and professional development of psychology) and with a research team from the University of La Rioja.

The objective of this project is to generate scientific evidence on programs to be developed in educational centers that have an impact on the well-being of teenagers and young adults, allowing them to improve their learning processes, academic performance, personal and family relationships, in short, their emotional well-being and quality of life.

Neteris contributes its know-how to the project

During a technological transformation, the Association needed in some phases of the Project PsiCE to count on maximum security, and in the face of these challenges Neteris provided all its experience in IT infrastructures and in the development of internal and external processes to tackle a project as complex as PsiCE. Still, in addition to the project, it was necessary to respond to the significant growth that the services of Official Association of Psychology of Madrid (COPM) are experiencing in recent years.

The priority that the Association gave to the diversity and agility of Cloud services, as well as the security and scalability needed for the Infrastructure, led them to choose the AWS Cloud as the public Cloud on which to develop their entire transformation process.

When COPM initiated contacts with Neteris to start this initiative, the first requirement was the need for their environment to be adapted to the highest level of the National Security Scheme (ENS), which establishes a set of security policies that allow the adequate protection of digital environments. In order to comply with this requirement, the team of Neteris implemented an architecture that combines several AWS cloud security services and has enabled COPM to meet the ENS requirement, thus ensuring that its technological environment complies with the highest security standards set by the National Cryptology Center.

In addition, through the services of AWS, compliance verification tasks were provided and automated throughout the project, including the use of third-party tools that, to make this process easier, have collaborated with the National Cryptology Center in providing verification frameworks through which they evaluate deployed architectures and detecting non-conformities, helping to simplify and optimize the compliance verification process.

Juan Manuel Grajera, Founding Partner and Co-CEO of Neteris comments: “Through innovative projects like this one, we demonstrate how technology is a catalyst for great projects, whether they are business or social, as in this case. And how important it is, in projects dealing with sensitive data, to complement the inherent security OF THE CLOUD with the security solutions available IN THE CLOUD”.
