Angulas Aguinaga and its trusted IT provider, Neteris, put the MultiCloud concept and application integration at the service of corporate growth.

Neteris, consulting firm specialized in the implementation of CLOUD solutions and business applications wins, together with its client Angulas Aguinaga the award for Best Oracle Applications Project 2023 at the SPOUG Awards, for its project: Technology at the service of inorganic growth.
As part of the annual convention of the Oracle Users Association in Spain (SPOUG), the SPOUG23 Awards ceremony was held on the evening of October 17 in the categories of Oracle Technology and Oracle Applications, with Neteris and Angulas winning the award in the latter category.
Angulas Aguinaga, a company based in Donosti, celebrates its trajectory since 1974 as a leader in the food market. Since its acquisition in 2020 by the PAI Partners fund, the company has experienced spectacular growth and a significant transformation, highlighting its differential focus on innovation as a key ingredient to transform the food market and position itself as an international leader in the sector in which it aims to reach a turnover of 450M€ in 2025. This ambitious strategic plan has materialized, among others, in several inorganic acquisitions in recent years, one of which led to the winning technology project.
COPESCO acquisition presented significant challenges for the Information Systems area, since it implied the need to carry out an accelerated integration (in only 4 months) of the acquired company’s business processes and data into Angulas Aguinaga’s corporate ERP, Oracle JD Edwards.
Faced with this challenge, it was decided to discard the alternative of carrying out a traditional rollout of the ERP application and to opt for an innovative integration strategy through the potential of Oracle Integration Cloud. This PaaS technology, a leader in the systems and applications integration segment, served as a vehicle for a team of specialised professionals to overcome the technical and scheduling obstacles, managing to implement an integration middleware between the two companies that achieved the business objectives and also behaves as a reusable solution, so it will play an important role in future acquisitions.
The Angulas Aguinaga team, driven by its innovative DNA, and the Neteris team, with its high specialization in Oracle technologies and its experience in integration projects on JD Edwards ERP, developed a multicloud solution on Oracle and Azure. This solution allowed the integration of business flows in real-time from the source ERP to the target ERP, passing through a central microservices layer, designed to be reused regardless of the source, which will undoubtedly help decisively to accelerate future integrations.
